The Consular Section's main responsibilities are American Citizen Services (ACS), Nonimmigrant Visas (NIV) and Immigrant Visas (IV).

The Consular Section is located in the Embassy's Chancery in the Riviera Golf neighborhood of the Cocody section of Abidjan.

American Citizen Services                                                   

Monday - Wednesday       8:00 AM to Noon             

Tuesday and Thursday      1:30 PM to 4:00 PM      

Emergency U.S. Citizen Services          24 hOURS

Non-Immigrant Visa Interviews

Monday through Thursday         8:00 AM to 10:00 AM

Immigrant/Diversity Visa Interviews

Monday through Thursday         1:30 PM to 4:00 PM

Please note that Non-Immigrant, Immigrant and Diversity visas are accepted during the hours listed above by appointment only.
