PEPFAR Cote d'Ivoire's partners meet to discuss strategy in Yamoussoukro

In order to implement this historic campaign against the HIV/AIDS virus across Cote d'Ivoire, PEPFAR is working hand in hand with local and international partners. These partnerships are based on PEPFAR's emphasis on the importance ofcapacity building. Through these partnerships PEPFAR will be able to improve local communities' coordination and capacity to combat this and other epidemics. While the United States is bringing the needed resources to these bodies, those who live in these areas are developing solutions thatbest reflect and respond to local realities. We're funding globally and thinking locally.
