PEPFAR's Work

Ivorians make up a majority of the PEPFAR team in Cote d’Ivoire.

PEPFAR's work to fight HIV/AIDS in Cote d'Ivoire is taking place on three major fronts. The first front aims to prevent the spread of the virus; the second front aims to treat those who have already been infected; and the third aims to provide care for those who have been affected by the epidemic, such as orphans and other vulnerable children. Combined, this comprehensive approach is helping to reduce the wide and deep impact of HIV/AIDS on Cote d'Ivoire.
