In January, 2002, Marie-Laure O. L. Angoran assumed the duties of the IRC Director at the Information Resource Center at the American Embassy in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire. Mrs. Angoran was formerly a reference librarian, before joining the Embassy as an IRC Assistant. She has served as Head Librarian for the Faculty of Humanities, Letters, Arts, Languages and Civilization at the University of Cocody Abidjan and as Director of the Library and the Documentation Center for National Civil Service School of Côte d’Ivoire. She was awarded in 2003 by the International Who’s Who of Professionals for her professional, academic, and civic achievements. Mrs. Angoran obtained a Master in Library Science Degree (MLS) from the Library and Documentation School of the University Cheick Anta Diop of Dakar.


Debora Yaméogo ROUAMBA

In 2007, Mrs. Rouamba has been assigned to the position of Information Resource Center Assistant.  She mainly provides professional research support to contacts and is engaged in IRC outreach services.  She assists and backs up the IRC Director, and also provides assistance to PAS Information Specialist.  She joined the US Embassy since 1994, serving as the Information Resource Center Technician until she was promoted to her current position.  She holds a Licence (three-year degree) in English from the English Department of the University of Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire.  Prior to her assignment in the US Embassy, she worked as an Assistant Document list at the International Institute of Parasitological and Agricultural Research and at the British Council's Education Section as a Library Assistant.

 


Oumou Coulibaly

Oumou Coulibaly is working as IRC Technician since December 2007.  Before joining PAS she has worked for more than five years at Peace Corps as language/cross-culture trainer, IRC Manager and Training Secretary. Oumou worked for two years and half at the GSO as Customer Service Assistant before she joins PAS. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Linguistics from the University of Cocody in Cote d’Ivoire.
